What is Animal Communication?
Animal Communication, also referred to as Intuitive Communication, is when a practised animal communicator telepathically and intuitively communicates with an animal. Communication can be sent using thought, spoken words, or using pictures or movies using the mind's eye. And communication with animals can be received as words, pictures, emotions, sometimes tastes and smells, and even just intuitive "knowing".
Marta Williams (a very accomplished and experienced intuitive communicator) explains it very well here.

What are the benefits of Animal Communication?
One of the main benefits as I see it is that you and your animals become closer. Identifying unmet needs for your animal can often radically alter undesired behaviours in your animal, and deepen the relationship between you.
Another benefit might be helping to identify why your animal is not feeling 100%. While not a replacement for qualified veterinarian care, sometimes your animal may be able to tell an animal communicator just where something is not quite right in their body. If you ever have doubts about the health of your animal companion, please see a veterinarian immediately! And if necessary, seek a second opinion!
If your animal is lost, an animal communicator might be able to help locate them by asking the animal what they can see or which way they travelled, and therefore help guide searchers to their location.
